Second Grade 100th Day Project

The second grade classes are working hard on a new project to celebrate the 100th day of school!

The classes of Mrs. Townsend, Mrs, Miller, Mrs. Grundy and Mrs. Preston are collecting:

  • *100 bars of soap,

  • *100 bottles of dish soap,

  • *100 snack packages,

  • *100 boxes of laundry detergent

to give to residents of Sayre Christian Village, a senior citizens residence here in Lexington. The second graders intend to graph their progress, and then present the items to the Activities Director there.

A former Glendover teacher resides at Sayre Christian Village, as does Mrs. Fine's mother. The children are enjoying marking the 100th day of school while they help others, too!k

We could use your donations by February 29.   Thank-you
